Thank you for arranging the retreat. If anything turns up on the Central Coast after Christmas, let me know… I appreciated MJs talk and insights, and his presentation of God’s Word, especially at the ANZAC memorial. I also appreciated that we could openly share in discussions. I appreciated his ministry. I enjoyed the sharing around the bonfire and ALLLL the food!! It was really a blessing and I enjoyed it. I have participated in quite a number of retreats in my time. I appreciated that this weekend together wasn’t weighed down by strict schedules and emphasis on ‘content’ and timetables. It was reasonably relaxed and flexible and not hard work. Yet there was still an intentionality in getting to know each other and support us as people who may feel isolated and facing the challenge that there are not many ministries in churches catering specifically for singles (this even though we represent the biggest group within most churches).
